2016 has been a fantastic year of sport and has seen our clients travel from the iconic streets of Monaco to the breathtaking Cape Town stadium following sporting events and we are now looking ahead to 2017.

  1. THE ASHES - NOVEMBER 2017 - JANUARY 2018

Join Spectate Travel in Australia for the 2017-18 Ashes Series. Celebrate Christmas in Melbourne, New Year's Eve in Sydney or experience the diverse surroundings of Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth away from the English winter. Spectate Sports Travel are delighted to have been appointed as an official licensed travel operator for the 2017-2018 Ashes Series. Be there for the biggest weekend on the golfing calendar! The US Masters sees the best golfers in the world battle it out for the famed green jacket, with excitement, drama and passion guarenteed. Will Englishman Danny Willett retain his crown, or will he be dethroned by another competitor chasing that elusive green jacket?

 

  1. HONG KONG SEVENS - 5TH - 10TH APRIL 2017

The Hong Kong Sevens is renowned for being the premier and unmissable tournament of the World Rugby Sevens series competition. During the tournament the whole city becomes submersed with rugby fever and there is a carnival atmosphere throughout the weekend. People from across the world travel annually to this event creating an international congregation of like minded rugby fans.

  1. WEST INDIES VS ENGLAND ODI SERIES - 28TH FEB - 10TH MARCH 2017

  1. ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX - 23RD - 27TH NOVEMBER 2017

It’s hard to find a more spectacular setting for a Grand Prix than Yas Island, on the eastern side of Abu Dhabi. In 2016 the title was undecided until the very last turn and it is great that the Yas Marina Circuit will be yet again, a suitably glamorous finale to the FIA Formula One World Championship. 

  1. US OPEN - 29TH AUGUST - 11TH SEPTEMBER 2017

The final grand slam of the year provides the ultimate finale for the ATP tour, a 2 week sporting extravaganza. Over the event, 700,000 fans will pass through the gates of the USTA Billie Jean King Centre to watch fast, frantic first class tennis. Based in Queens NYC, one of the world’s most dynamic cities, from the bright lights of Times Square to the leafy streets of Greenwich Village, each bite of the Big Apple will leave you hungry for more. The US Open is one of New York City’s most exciting events in the year, not an event to be missed!

The Dubai World Cup has fast become one of the most popular events on the worldwide racing calendar and is renowned for being "The worlds richest race day" worth over $30 million in prize money alone! On last Saturday of every March, since 1996, the "who's who" of the equestrian world, the elite of Dubai's society and tens of thousands of race-goers will limber up and down their finery for the culmination of Dubai's world cup festival.

  1. SUPERBOWL LI - 3RD - 6TH FEBRUARY 2017

The biggest event in sport and definitely one for the bucket list! Super Bowl LI will be the 51st Super Bowl, hosted at the 75000 capacity NRG Stadium in Houston Texas. The Superbowl is renowned for being the biggest spectacle in sport and no one puts on a show like our neighbours across the pond.
