Itinerary

Day 1

Depart London Gatwick on your scheduled flight to Melbourne in economy.

Day 2

Transit over night in Dubai Airport, on your way to Melbourne.

Day 3

Arrive in Melbourne. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your chosen hotel for 5 nights' accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 4

Enjoy your first morning at leisure before an afternoon pick-up for a trip to Philip Island. On your private tour your guide will take you to the rugged surf beach of Cape Woolamai, and you'll meet Australia's most-loved and cuddly marsupial at the Koala Conservations Centre. Before the sun sets you'll settle in your beachfront viewing stand in preparation for the iconic Penguin Parade where you'll get to watch the local penguin colony make their way back to their burrows for the night - a ranger will be on hand to teach you everything about these marvellous creatures.

Day 5

The Australian Open 2024 - Quarter Finals (Day) - Witness the Australian Open in style from excellent side-on, lower tier seats at the Rod Laver Arena. Private transfers are included to and from the arena today.

Day 6

Today head out for a full day exploring one of Australia's most picturesque wine regions. On your private tour you'll encounter local wildlife at Healesville Wildlife Sanctuary before exploring the Yarra Valley region, sampling wine from local wineries and visiting pretty vineyards. You'll stop for a sumptuous lunch at a local restaurant before spending an afternoon sampling some more of the artisanal food and drink.

Day 7

Spend a day at leisure before your private transfer takes you to the Rod Laver Arena for this evening's Semi Final's at The Australian Open 2024. Your transfer will take you back to your hotel once the match has ended.

Day 8

Today you will be transferred from your Melbourne hotel to Melbourne Airport for your flight to Sydney. On arrival in Sydney transfer to your chosen hotel for 4 nights.

Day 9

This morning you will be met at your accommodation by your private guide and vehicle for a full day tour of Sydney. Visit the historic Rocks precinct where you will see examples of Australia’s oldest colonial buildings and take a look at Sydney’s newest development at Barangaroo Point. Continue through the Botanic Gardens to Mrs Macquarie’s Chair where you will stop to capture some iconic Sydney photo opportunities: Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge and the city’s sparkling harbour. Enjoy lunch at Watsons Bay (at your own cost) where you have your choice of harbourside cafes or takeaway seafood by the beach. On conclusion of the tour you will be transferred to your accommodation by approximately 5:30pm.

Day 10

Day at leisure in Sydney.

Day 11

This morning you will be met at your accommodation by your private guide and vehicle for a full day tour of the Blue Mountains. Your first stop is a true introduction of the dramatic landscape and cliff tops of the Blue Mountains at Sublime Point. This is off the mainstream tourist radar and a great place to stretch the legs and get some great photos. Morning tea is served in an idyllic location with Blue Mountains National Park before you embark on a 1-1.5hr walk to Wentworth Falls. Cross the creek over the path and walk out onto the National Pass to experience the splendour of the Blue Mountains with the dramatic cliff faces and valley drop offs. Walk 1000 steps into the valley and back out again with an incredible view at every turn. There are numerous lookouts and vantage points on this walk with very few tourists. For the energetic, there is another lookout, Princes Lookout. This is a short bush walk but provides great views back onto Wentworth Falls and shows the path we have just taken to the base of the waterfall. Board your vehicle for the short drive to the historic village of Leura for lunch at a local café before checking out the local town scene and shops.

Day 12

You will be transferred from your hotel to Sydney Airport for your flight back to the UK.

Day 13

Arrive back in the UK.
