The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2022 is a weekend that’ll live long in memory.
Last year, we were delighted once again to be an Official On-Seller for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Of course, Spectate was there, watching all the racing action from our very own hospitality suite.
Platinum Hospitality
Last year, we welcomed over 200 clients throughout premium seats including the North Grandstand, which wraps around Turn 5 where Verstappen overtook Hamilton back in 2021. Perhaps the most spectacular way to watch the race was from our sold-out hospitality suite in the Marina Grandstand, where we welcomed 40 guests. Across three days, they enjoyed an all-inclusive mix of culinary delights, with live cooking stations and premium beverages - including the famous Spectate Spritz cocktail! The Suite also boasted unrivalled balcony views across the track and superyacht-packed marina. What's more, guests had instant access to top areas of the circuit, including the Pit Lane Walk, all Oasis areas and the F1 Fanzone.
After all the exhilarating sunset racing action concluded, it was Max Verstappen that came out on top yet again, claiming victory number 15 of the 2022 season. Yas Marina always hosts an emotional season-finale – but Sebastian Vettel’s retirement brought an extra layer of poignancy to the 2022 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. We were privileged to see the four-time champion perform donuts on the grid at the end of his last race in F1. Danke Seb!

Celebrity Hosted Brunch
We also had the honour of introducing the legend that is Damon Hill to the stage, at our inaugural Spectate Brunch. This was a fantastic opportunity to interact with a legendary figure in the sport and to soak up the excitement in the lead up to the race, plus there were plenty of photographs and autographs to be had!

After a thrilling race, we celebrated with fireworks, concerts and parties. The weekend's entertainment line-up was impressive, with Usher, Swedish House Mafia and Kendrick Lamar all taking to Yasalam Stage.
Away from the circuit, our clients experienced the very best Abu Dhabi has to offer. A definite ‘must-see’ for any explorer is the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, which at sunset truly is a wonderful sight. We also recommend riding the fastest roller coaster in the world at Ferrari World and seeing all of the pieces at the Louvre Museum.
So, from humble beginnings in the Formula One world, we've gone to having our very own hospitality suite, and introducing the legend that is Damon Hill to the stage.
